Currently
Self-employed in photography specialising in portraits, design, theatre, corporate, digital art. Studying InDesign and studio lighting. 2009 now studying for a Diploma in Graphic Design.
General
I work for several children's nurseries in Dorking and have undertaken corporate work for the local council. This includes photographs of Dorking and the surrounding areas which were used in their publications.
I have covered Housing Association meetings and produced portraits of members of the council boards. Events I have covered include Dorking Gala Night and The Heritage Days to use in their brochures.
Achievements
Two of my photographs have won trophies:
A theatre photograph entitle 'Chorus Line' won the SPA Herman Rothschild Trophy for highest scoring print in the club.
I also won best print (The Tanqurey Trophy). Last year a print entitled 'Candlelight' won The Walker Cup voted for by the public at Denbies Wine Estate Dorking.
The Amateur Stage Magazine has featured my photographs on the front cover and inside from a production by the BROS Theatre Company.
I am proficient in Photoshop and enjoy digital art and the restoration of old photographs.
Recently I qualified for my Licentiate with the RPS and BIPP
Future
To further my education through the BIPP and under take more challenging projects. To encourage children to take up photography in my camera club called Camera Cubs.
